[SOLVED] GTX 1070 fan not spinning fast

Im running tensorflow on GTX 1070 the gpu load is 100% but the fan is spinning at only 50% it didn't cross 52% from last 4hrs is anything happens to my gpu or its Normal to all GPUs

Welcome to the forums my friend!

This sounds perfectly normal, as the fan will not increase based on % load, but on temperature. The GPUs of today can often withstand easily up to 90 degrees. You can adapt this fan behaviour yourself, but with a max temp of 79 degrees, I would not be too worried unless it kept going above this.

I suspect your fans RPM would actually be going up as it approached 80 degrees+.

Thanks for the replay but im using Ubuntu to run tensorflow the afterburner not available in Ubuntu is there any software for linux....?

I believe you can still use Nvidiux for Linux OS - not sure if it works the same in all versions but believe it does:

The NVIDIA control panel should have some settings built in too.
