GTX 1070 fe high temperatures

Is 83 degrees Celsius safe for a GTX 1070 founders edition

It gets to this temp when under full load when playing games such as Tom Clancy wildlands under full load

It runs smoothly but just worried about the temperatures

I have the same card as you do. My card don't hit 83 celcius , but this temperature is safe. I did my own fan curve in MSI AFTERBURNER and I suggest you do the same. To do this you go to in :

settings>fan>mark turn on automatic fan curve provided by user>make this fan curve :
