Recently I ran a 3dmark firestrike benchmark and got a score of 13,793. https://www.3dmark.com/fs/14299304
I've seen other people with my same components getting 15.3k or more.
What could be the issue?

PC Specs:
CPU: i7-6700 3.4Ghz
MoBo: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING/AURA
Ram: 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition

This score is more in line with the op's score, gpu core and memory clock also.

Driver version is different though so keep that in consideration.

As suggested above when installing drivers, its best to custom/clean install. And restart afterwards.

Chane power plan to prefer max rather then optimal.

Results in firestrike you see from other people, their gpu clocks are higher.

I would try to run a monitoring software like MSI afterburner during the test to see if there is a particular component under-performing or causing a bottleneck in the system.

Yeah I just ran my EVGA GTX 1070 SC in FireStrike and got 18,974 in graphics. https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/23694035?

*Forgot I MSI Afterburner still had it OC'd even though it was closed. Stock (factory OC) score is https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/23702799?
