GTX 1070 *FRESH PC* Cannot install Geforce Game Ready Driver.

Hello,

I just build my new pc and im having issues installing the Geforce Game Ready Driver.
I am running windows 10, and i've tried installing both driver version from website and from the Geforce experince client. Both tell me that "This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows."

- I have tried installing different versions and in different languages.
- I have tried to reinstall my nvidia drivers and rebooting. (using DDU)

Any Ideas?

have you got all the windows updates? what version of win 10 are you on (right click start button, select run. type Winver as you need 1511 to run drivers

The same thing hapoened to me when I attempted to install my Zotac GTX 750Ti.
Downloaded drivers from nvidia website and showed me the same message.

I found 2 solutions:
1.
Installing first the original drivers from Zotac CD and then installing GeForce Experience and updating from there.

2. Letting Win10 find the drivers on its own and then updating with GeForce Experience.

The original nVidia drivers downloaded from their website simply didn't work..

Try that and tell us how it went.

Make sure you have all of your Windows updates as well as your driver updates. If worse comes to worse you may have to refresh/reset your PC, but first try and obtain all possible updates for everything.

It's an issue with windows 10 , my new 1060 wouldn't install , ASUS told me to send back to newegg.​

Total reinstall and 1151 , finally fixed , had to wipe the drive.​
