I installed GTX 1070 for my new rig and I can see the lights are on the graphics card. However, when I plug the displayport cord to my PG278Q monitor, it says no signal. And when I boot into my system with the integrate graphics, I can only see my integrated graphics card.

Go into the Bios settings and try to disable integrated Video it seems like it is not switching over.

If that does not work I do not know what to tell you sadly.
I install a lot of systems. The only DOA cables that I run into all the time are Display Port Cables. Please try a new cable otherwise test with a Hdmi or DVI.

PG278Q only supports displayport cable, the cable works perfectly with integrated graphics on my motherboard.
