Gtx 1070+i5 6600 1440p 144hz Monitor

Hello everyone,

I want to buy the AOC AGON AG241QX or the LG 34UC79G-B.
I have a GTX 1070+i5 6600(no comments on the CPU please, I know it was a mistake and I'l upgrade soon) and I'd like to know if I can use those Monitors to their full potencial,
especially in Rainbow Six Siege(I'd prefer good FPS over good Graphics).
And if I should go with a 1080p 144hz Monitor, can u guys suggest me a very good one?
Also I really would like to know if I get any advantage with a 27 inch monitor compared to a Monitor with 24 inch

with a gtx 1070 at 1440p expect 100+ fps, with max or nearly max settings in that specific game

1440p is fine, g-sync would be ideal

if you're fine with adjusting a few settings and reduce eyecandy to medium sometimes, the 1070 should be capable of doing 1440p/144Hz

the advantage of a 27'' compared to a 24'' is that it's bigger, so there's more image to look at
on the other hand, at the same resolution the smaller the screen, the sharper the image is (however 1440p @27'' looks pretty good, 1440p@24'' is 'ultrasharp', some people don't like that)
I wouldn't buy a 1080p monitor in 2017 anymore. monitors easily last 7-10 years and 1080p is being phased out.
even if your card right now couldn't deliver high settings, it makes little sense imo to spend 300 bucks on a screen today that in a year or two is virtually the equivalent to what 1366x768 is today
