gtx 1070 low performance

i know it might be my processor but i have a amdfx 8370and in gta 5 i get 45 to 60 fps only

8gb of ram ddr3 supposed to be 16 but only 8 usable GA-990FXA-UD3 R5

Even at 2560x1600 with a Titan X, your FX-8350 chip should be turning out over 70FPS, surpassing the core i3 & approaching a core i5's performance. Your GTX 1070 should be performing on par with the Titan X (http://www.techspot.com/review/1182-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1070/page6.html) as well...which makes me wonder if something else is going one.

1. Did this start when you installed the 1070, or did it perform fine at first & then run into problems? If it's the former, it's possible that you didn't fully uninstall the old drivers, which could be causing a problem. If it's the latter, it could be a recent update (OS/app/driver/whatever) that's causing the problem, & you can tinker with System Restore to see if it causes the problem (especially if it's only in this 1 game).

2. Have you checked your GPU temps? Just like with a CPU, overheating the GPU means it throttles down to keep cool. Bad temps = bad performance.

3. Have you checked your CPU temps? Again, your CPU will automatically throttle down if it starts overheating, which will cut your performance down.

4. Have you checked to make sure that other apps aren't using up your resources?

I'm having performance issues also, and I think I know I didn't uninstall the gtx 960 driver and just installed the new one, how can I fix?
