GTX 1070 not performing correcltly

Hi,

Recently got a RE GTX 1070. Seems I may have messed something up when installing, because I am only getting about 60 FPS on most new AAA games. Anyone have any ideas why?

1920x1080. I plan on buying a 1440p monitor was I was concerned about it.

Do you have VSync on?

That will cap the frame rate to the monitors refresh rate of 60 Hz which is the same as 60 fps
