GTX 1070 not performing the way it should

hello everyone,
i recently bought an evga geforce gtx 1070 sc and im not even stable 200 fps in games like counter strike global offensive :/. anything i can do to fix it?

Did you install it?
Did you install drivers?
Did you connect monitor to it?

What's the model name of PSU, you're using?

Yes i installed it and also installed the latest drivers.i have connected it to a 1080p monitor using a hdmi cable.
My psu is corsair vs series 550 watt power supply

i5 7600k is not compatible with your mobo

you are not going to get benchmark numbers from the 1070 with your current processor

1. That cpu is "weak" and will struggle to feed the gtx 1070
2. With HDMI you must have HDMI 2.0 full support on monitor to get decent Hz. HDMI 1.4 screen simply won't be able to push through 200Hz. If you can, go displayport.
3. Is by a chance V-sync enabled? It limits max FPS to current screen frequency.
