Gtx 1070 now or after 11 series cards

I am building a new pc with 16gb ram i5 7600k and an intel 600p 512gb pcie m.2 ssd and am wondering wether i should buy a gtx 1070 graphics card now or wait till 11 series comes out to try and buy one for cheaper. I really need to get cards as cheap as possible for the performance. P.S. I have a gtx 960 that i could struggle in with and wait till it releases. VEGA is also an option i will expand to if its a better option.

GPU's will just get more expensive. If a new one comes out it wont be worth it and its gonna like a $2000 or something. Just get the 1070. You can always upgrade in the future.

Given you currently have the GTX 960. I'd probably recommend waiting until the 12xx series (always wait at least three generations).

Thanks for the replies but what i was trying to say was wether to buy the 1070 now or later not th new card. When the new card releases do you think the price drops on 10 series cards will be worth it?
