GTX 1070 on 8gb ram

I have a i7 7700 ( non k) processor and 8gb ddr 4 hyperx fury 2400 single ram on asus rog strix b250f mobo . So now i want to buy a gtx 1070 but the thing is that will it bottleneck with the single channel 8gb ram . I will buy another 8gb ram but ill have wait for atleast 2 mnths but till then will this work ?

Yes it will work. It does not really matter is your system ram is single or dual channel, as long as games you play don't use more than 8 Gb it will be fine.
