Gtx 1070 or 1080

Is what I have okay to run at full gtx 1070 or 1080. And I need to go for 1080 is I play at 1080p 144mhz monitor?

My rig
I7 4770k
Asus z87 pro
16gb ddr3
Ssd+hdd
Gtx 770 2gb which i want to upgrade
650w psu silver cerified i think

Will I be able to run these cards at max, overclock them? And should I go for 1080 or 1070?

A GTX 970 can do what you require, and prices have been dropping lately.

If you're set on a GTX 1070 or 1080 then nobody can give you an answer until the cards have been released and benchmarked.

Like he mentioned a 970 would be fine for you. Unless you plan to get into 4k gaming or VR in the future. If your fine with 1080 I wouldn't worry about getting the 1080.you would be paying a lot more for unused hardware. The 1070 would be even more than you need. But of those 2 options, for your current hardware, it's hard to argue the 1070. I would get a 970 though cause they will drop in price once this next gen is out for a bit.
