So hello guy's I'm new to gtx 1070 i have it like 2 month's and I think it's working fine.
But some times I get some weird fps drops like in league of legends from 144 to 78 (I capped it to 144).
Had some problems in gta 5 but it's fine now.
So I was looking all over Google and YouTube for what I needed and found some solutions .
So my question is is it save to cap voltage?
I'm on 1000 mV and 1980 mghz constantly my temp is 57 in games like gta 5 and in heaven banchmark never goes above 62.
I use a custom curve for fans.
My specs are :
ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.7 stock cooller
Asus b350 prime plus
16 gb (2x8) ddr 4 corsair vengeance @2666
Gtx 1070 EVGA SC black edition ACX 3.0
Ssd Samsung evo 850 240 gb
Hdd 1 tb
Psu 650 w
I just need to know what's the safe setting for constantly the same core speed cuz I was getting jumps and dips from gpu boost from 1975 mghz to 1780. Now I found it stable whit the setting that I mentioned above but I need to know is it safe.
Thank you.
