Hi guys I took my pc to work with me yesterday and my graphics card has stopped working.
Games and performance tests will only run with the integrated graphics. I'm completely stumped. When taking the pc to work I unplugged and gently laid it in my car the journey was no more than 5 minutes. I had no drops or any bumps so I don't see how I could of been physically damaged.
It is recognised in device manager as being inserted into a pci bus but if I run DXDIAG it only shows the integrated graphics
Things I have tried.
reinstall
updating driver
changing to AUTO and PCI-E in BIOS as for some reason it had set to I-GPU
changing the PCI slot the card is inserted into
specs are
windows 10 64 bit
i5 6600k
8gb ram
1tb HD
120gb SSD
MSI GTX 1070 Armour OC
Please any help would be greatly appreciated as I am completely lost!
