I just noticed that in the build I finished yesterday my 1070's fans are not spinning. I don't want to panic as my computer is not performing any tasks that would require heavy gpu use, but I do wish to test it. I've heard that the fans will spin when the gpu reaches a certain load. I want to be able to check the temperature and/or manually enable the fans just to see that they will function when needed. Can anyone help?

Solution
Download MSI AfterBurner. This can allow you to monitor temps, usage, fan speed, etc. You can also manually set a fan control profile, making the fans spin at a certain % speed depending on the temperature the gpu is at.
