I used to have the following rig:
I7 4790
16gb ddr3 1600 ram
radeon hd 5870 1gb
psu corsair 750w
mobo gigabyte ga-z97m-d3h
Used to play all kinds of games, with graphics always high-ultra
When the new games demanded more video memory, I traded for a GTX 1070 RoG Strix 8gb
But imagine my surprise, when playing EVERY game, having terrible flickering edges, and even worse render distance.
This happened to the following games so far
Just Cause 3
Assassin Creed Unity
Elder Scrolls Skyrim
Elder Scrolls Oblivion
Just Cause 2
Take Just Cause 2 for example. I game almost 10 years old, and by using a HD 5870 I used to have perfect graphics.
With a GTX 1070, 8x more memory, and if I drive fast enough, Trees and light posts render just I past by their side.
The driver is up to date, and I formated the pc when I installed the gpu, so it's a clean install.
Anyone know what can be made, or what can I do?
