GTX 1070 ti 6 pin or 8 pin connector

I'm planning on getting gtx 1070 ti i'm just wondering if a 6 pin connector is enough or do I need an 8 pin connector, i'm wondering this because i'm getting cable mod. My psu is also 750w so that's enough

or do I need an 8 pin and a 6 pin connector?

The GTX 1070 ti has a default 180W DTP so you definitely need at least 1x 8-pin PCIe connector. There are GTX 1070 ti models that have 1x 8-pin plug and some models that come with an additional 6-pin plug. So I suggest that you first decide which card you want and then get the required cables.
