GTX 1070 vs RX 480

Hello all I was wondering if I should get which of these cards, most would say go with Nvidia and or the most powerful card. But I have a i5 4460 which is a good CPU but with these new "High End GPU's" I think it would bottleneck a GTX 1070 but would a RX 480 be good enough for 1080P and or a Ultrawide @1080P. I currently have a R9 380 2GB and its not really playing the games at my settings and the right framerate. Which one would my money go better to and have the best performance for the future too? Thanks.

The RX 480 matches your processor and would save you a lot of money.

Also consider the GTX 1060.

Both the RX 480 and GTX 1060 will drive 1080P at max game settings all day long with no problems. GTX 1070 is overkill for 1080P.
