Hello so I was watching youtube while playing my 3ds and the auto play function was disabled, I didn't care at the time because monster hunter generations enough said. Well so 10 minuets go by and my monitor goes to sleep I thought nothing of it so I continued to play to immersed into the game to care well quest comes to an end and low and behold my pc monitor won't turn on so I do the usual power on power off nothing, connect it to integrated graphics (cringe ) and it starts to work thinking this my be the problem I disable it in the bios try to boot nothing. I go to buss options I disable pci serr# generations reboot now connected to the gtx card again nothing, reconnect to integrated enable pci vga palette smoothing restart nothing (note that while integrated video is disabled even now I can still boot into the pc and see everything on screen was going to disable with in windows after noticing this but didn't know if I would be able to reenter the bios) also if I go into device manager and look under display devices (can't remember the actual name right now) the gtx 1070 is there thought this was weird somthing else to note is that the fans on the 1070 do turn off after a little while but I think it's most likely that nothing is being pulled to make the fans spin (resource wise) I also did upgrade to the latest drivers for the card (this may be nothing but when plugged in to the the on board graphics and I go to settings in Nvidia experience it still shows that my system settings are :
Gtx 1070
I7-6700
12 Gigs of 1600 mhz ram
Now the rest inside my pc
600 watt power supply
2tb hardrive
And a 256 GB ssd
So i dont know of this is also picking it up but it shows it there I also tried to see if it would also show in game but it did not when i loaded up skyrim or Tomb raider all that it shows are the lntegraded 530 graphics so any help would be appreciated like isaid i think i got most of the basic stuff out of the way thanks I look forward to the help. Oh final thing I did set pci as the first load option in bios but now i can't seem to refine the option again thank you and idi loom for ward to the community's help.
