GTX 1070ti psu

Hi guys,

I just recieved my gtx1070Ti, and my RM650X.
Installed them both. But i noticed the GTX 1070ti needs a 6pin & 8pin.
Now my psu comes with 2 cables that have a 6 and 8pin both.
Is it safe to use one cable? Or should i use one cable from psu to gpu for 8pin and one for 6pin?

I am running a 1080 ti off of one cable. As long as it's a good quality PSU, which Corsair is usually good, one cable is fine but using two cables is very slightly better if you are overclocking for stability.
