Gtx 1080 150fps cs:go help

hi, i recently bought a gigabyte gtx 1080 xtreme gaming to replace my gtx 960. i used to get around 200 fps with the 960 but i only get 120-150 fps on the 1080, the card is used 30% and my i5 4690k is used 70-80%. my rig is a i5-4690k, asus b85m-g, 12gb 1600mhz ram, 1tb hard drive and a 250gb ssd from samsung. why is my framerate so low and how can i get a higher framrate.

Have you set a cap in Nvidias software on in game? have you wiped the old drivers?

These issues with CSGO and 10xx series GTX and probably Win10s involvement there somewhere too is the most talked about problem. Noone knows whats going on.

Just do the usual suggestions and game commands. Make sure all cores the game allows are in use. Xbox dvr and game bar is off.

Try the oldest driver you can find for the 1080.

I get same fps with NVidia 1060 6gb and i5 7400 3.4ghz and 16gb ram
