GTX 1080 2 Monitors

So I've got a GTX 1080 and up until now I've only used 1 monitor but I would like to start using 2. The 1080 only has 1 HDMI port so would I be able to use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable to use dual monitors? EDIT: The second monitor is in fact not a monitor but a TV, that's why I'm getting to HDMI
