I was playing Doom (4k Settings maxed) with my new card and saw that the temperatures went up to 77C and thought that was odd, so I checked GPU tweak and the fans were set to low, I have a custom fan profile but whenever I restart my computer I have to switch back to the my profile tab. When I did that temps came down to about 70C I was wondering if this is a safe temperature to play at for long periods of time or should I scale back on the graphics settings. My i7 6700k got around to 67C peak but hovered around the high 50s to mid 60s thru most of gameplay, I've put a ton of money into this PC so I'm just worried about burning things up. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Use your nose. When you smell it you should start worry about...

Maximum temp a 1080 can have is 94 degree C. So somewhere around 85 is to worry
