Youll be fine with the hardware you currently have. Im running a GTX 1080 on an old X58 Gen 1 i7 board and I get frame rates that rival my old 980 SLI setup in the same system. Using a Corsair 750 TX power supply was sufficient for 2 980's in SLI, and the 1080 is pulling far less power than those cards where. Will help if you can overclock the CPU to 4Ghz or higher.

Thank you! I will wait after the summer period when the price for the 1080 reduceda bit further...I might then come back to you for assistance in that matter (overclocking). Regards
