My gtx 1080 died. Before it died, I've experienced artefacts, mainly something that looked like screen tearing and it dissapeared once i turned monitor off and on.

Also, I had other problems for example, pc wouldn't start unless i switched psu off and on. (that happened only once) Somtimes, pc would restart instead of switching off.
I have good psu with more than enough wattage to pull something like gtx 1080 ( i have evga supernova p2 850w)

psu still works, only gpu died. Now the question is should i rma psu? Does any of the situations i explained above seems to be result of bad psu?

Sorry for bad grammar (writting on the phone + non native speaker)

I wouldn't initiate a RMA unless the problem persists after you get a new video card FYI: I have two of the EVGA P2 850's. Very high quality power supply, so the problem you describe is unlikely caused by it. But on the other hand, it is after-all a piece of electronics, so anything is possible. Again, I would wait and see if the problem persists after you replace the graphics card.
