I finally built my dream PC, so excited to build it, slowly, taking care of every step.
It was working so smooth until I download the geforce drivers. Monitor started flickering, losing signal and at some point I could't even run in safe mode and had to change the ssd to the old pc and delete the drivers and start all over again.
I saw a lot of people having problem with the drivers but it can't be only that. I was trading around parts to see what works with what and what causes the problem.
At first I thought it was a faulty graphics card, then I thought the motherboard and then the card again but everything was leading back to the monitor struggling to recognize the HDMI even it was connected to nothing at all, flickering and not finding old setup as well which I've been running for years with that particular monitor. Now everything is working again without the drivers.
Finally had some consecutive days off work after 2-3 really long weeks and I have to wait till monday to go get a monitor that will hopefully save me. But before I do I'd love to know what you people think. I just hope it's only that because a faulty graphics card will destroy me.
