Gtx 1080 fans won’t spin but idle at 90degrees

So i recently built a pc and the graphics card works fine and the fans spin until I log in, then it stops and my system goes to 90 degrees on idle with no graphics card fans spinning

I’ve installed all drivers and the disks that came with it all so I’m really unsure what it could be

Use DDU in safe mode and remove your current drivers. Reboot and install the latest ones from the Nvidia website. Make sure if you are using something like afterburner that you haven't set up a manual fan curve thats stopping the fans from operating. If all else fails set up a manual fan curve to make sure the fans are actually operational and theres not a factory defect
