GTX 1080 for 240hz?

I am planning to use a 1080p 60hz monitor and a 1080p 240hz monitor. I will be mainly playing games such as CS;:GO and Fortnite. Can I get by with a GTX 1080 or do I need something better? Do I need to lower settings? Also I will be pairing the GTX 1080 with a Ryzen 2600x. Thanks

At 1080p you should get very high FPS in both those games

Thanks for the answer! But will they be able to at 240hz? I will be running a secondary display for web browsing, discord, Spotify, etc.
