GTX 1080 GPU Temp

Hey.

I was just wondering if my GPU is temps are meant to be this high.

When playing rust on fast settings from the launcher is sits on 54% load and is sitting 76c. Also had problems with pubg and other games. i was just wondering if i should be concerned about this

Hot would be considered anything above 83 degrees on 100% load. Run a benchmark to see. You can always create a custom fan curve to aid lowering the temps.

That looks OK
If you want lower temps, then set up fan curve, since the default curve is too conservative.

This is my current fan curve, is there anything i should change or add to it. i want to make sure this thing wont overheat/fry when im gaming. i'm not bothered about noise as i wear a headset.

It is fine, play with it only if you reach 85+ while gaming. You will only know whether you need to adjust it in real usage.

I would set it to 100% as soon it hits 80 degrees.

thanks fore the help, wont go much over 75 while gaming however it sits at around 45-50c whilst on idle just browsing the interwebs and chatting on discord. should that also be a concern or is that just normal ?

That is normal but if you want lower temps you may have to deal with noise from the fans.
