After upgrading to Windows 10 Pro, my GTX 1080 will not show up in Device Manager leading it to being undetected while attempting to install drivers. Additionally, it produces no video when plugged in using a Display Port cable.

Currently, the PC is running off of the Intel graphics.

After having tried...

1. Switching the card's PCI slot

2. Updating the BIOS

3. Uninstalling the Intel Drivers

4. Using DDU to clean up any residual Nvidia and Intel Drivers

5. Performing a fresh install of Windows

...I'm out of ideas.

Having searched since yesterday for an answer online to no avail, I'm hoping some new information might save this system.

-------------------------------------------

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270X GAMING 7, BIOS - F4

Chip:i7 - 7700k

PSU: Corsair AX860i, on the 12v rail

Operating System & Version: Windows 10 Pro build 1607 64bit (upgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate; drive was re-formatted before installation)

GPU: GTX 1080, 8GB of VRAM, no overclock

---------

Thanks in advance

You gonna have to keep trying booting with the monitor connected to the card.
Try another cable and try reinserting the GTX 1080. You could also test it on another slot.
To install the drivers and use the card, you would need to use the display ports outputs of the card, not the motherboard's
Make sure you plug in all the 6/8 pin pcie slots on the GTX 1080 with your power supply.
Try using the other ports/cables.
You could also try removing and reinserting the gTX 1080.

Thanks for the reply.

I've already used the DP on the card rather than the MB (although it's currently plugged into the MB now). Doing so only results in a blank screen.

Pins are in.
