Gtx 1080 is not running dx 12, driver crashes

Driver version 398.82(latest)
First bf 1 and now 3dmark time dpy trst in both cases display driver crashes, what seems to be the probelm? Could it be the dx 12 chip on gpu is broken?

How? Where can i find old drivers? Is it possible that card is defective and i should rma under warrenty?

How, when i enter gfx card mkdel theu give latest graphics, besides i believ this is not driver related, could it be that card is defective? Plz note the card works fine with dx 11 ultra settings at 1440p

If the card capable of running the game in DX11 no issue then there is nothing wrong with the card at all. Not being able to run the game in DX12 does not make a card defective. To begin with DX12 have always have it's own set of issue.
