Gtx 1080 low performance

I just upgraded my pc from Gtx 1060 to 1080 and I'm having performance issues. The 1060 performs better than 1080 both on very low settings in PUBG. It's worth mentioning that i don't have an SSD. And still can't get my nvme ssd to work as a boot manager.

Did you uninstall your GPU drivers before removing the GTX1060? You should then reinstall the drivers after populating the system with the GTX1080.

I didn't uninstall the drivers. I was gonna put the specs but forgot.
CPU: i6-6600k
Motherboard: Msi Z270 sli plus
Ram: 16x2 3000Mhz corsair
HDD: WD 1TB 2012 / SSD: Force MP500 120GB
Gpu: Gigabyte 1080 Windforce
Psu: EVGA 500
Chassis: NZXT S340
OS: Windows 10 home

I uninstalled the previous drivers and installed my Gpu drivers and it works just fine thanks to you. Still got the problem with my ssd though. I think my problem is that i didnt burn a UEFI windows 10 image on my flash drive instead just downloaded a the file on it. Because everytime i install windows on my ssd it just doesn't show up in my BIOS as windows boot manager.

You have set boot priority to ssd. And erase OS ON HDD. Get ssd setup first then deal with hdd
