GTX 1080 not detected in BIOS

My Gtx 1080 is not detected by the asus bios. It was detected and I managed to get into bios (rampage v extreme) a few times but now it doesn't ouput any signal. I tried a different gpu in the slot below it and it worked. I moved the 1080 to the slot the old card was in and it did not. However the motherboard does detect monitors or console outputs are connected to the gtx 1080 (when it boots)... Is it dead? Will nvidia repair a card which is not under warranty? How should I contact them?

The card should absolutely be under warranty.

check for bent pin or dirt in the non working slot.

I installed a waterblock :\ And the gtx 1080 does not work in a slot that a gtx 970 does work in...
