GTX 1080 Performance

Hey guys,

I have bought an EVGA GTX 1080 SC 8 GB videocard and I have tried it on PUBG and League.

I generally play with 1440x900 resolution and with the snow theme (on league) I tend to have 200 fps on start and then dropping to 60-100 fps during teamfights with the new videocard (more or less the same performance I had with my elder GTX 760).

In PUBG I noticed gameplay improved a lot compared to GTX 760, however I feel like it should be easily pushed to a better performance, I feel like its not working as well as it should.
Getting at least 50 fps in all parts playing mostly in medium with draw distance in ultra
(I have a friend who told me he had > 80 fps in all ultra 1440x900).

Any suggestions to improve the performance?

After installing the GPU I didn't reinstall drivers since both 760 And 1080 share the same driver.

Specs:
i5 4670
16 gb ram ddr3 1333mhz

Your CPU is holding you back in PUBG.

Download MSI Afterburner to monitor CPU/GPU/RAM usage. If any of them runs at or near 100% consistently, then that one is bottleneck your system.

CPU's seem to be near the 100% usage almost all the time. So it seems to be a problem with bottlenecking.

Try to play at everything at high setting and higher resolution, the game will shift more work load to your GTX1080. Hopefully you will gain more fps with what you have now.
