GTX 1080 power supply

Hi there,

Is it possible to extend my power supply so that I have 3 x 6 pin PCI connectors?

The thing is that I got gtx 1080 and found out that I have only 2 x 6 PCIe Connector 2. One of them connected to the motherboard.

It's true but another 6 pin PCI is connected to the motherboard in a top right corner of the screen you can see it.

No, that is for EPS, which is a split 4+4-pin connector.
Do NOT connect the 6+2-pin connector to it. You will do damage.

Man I'm totally confused ... information in the internet is so messed up.
6+2 PCIe is the same as 8 pin PCIe? So I can plug it directly to GPU?
