Thats all the memory modules that ASRock has tested and certified with that board, I don't see any 16gb kits, but 2 8s would be fine. Or you may find a 16gb kit out there with the model numbers of the 2 8s
Yes, a 600 watt tier 3 power supply is good enough to run a GTX 1080. When you say that it's crashing, what precisely is happening? Does it freeze and a hard reboot is needed, is it rebooting automatically, what?
Hi rcald2000. What happens mate is that when i play a game or run a benchmark it makes a loud buzzing noise then the screen freezes and the pc is crashed then yes i have to hard reset it.
There is a buzzing sound coming from the power supply, GTX 1080, or out of the speaker? If it's the power supply then submit a RMA request with Corsair ASAP.
The CX 600 is known for failing with high powered GPUs, I would bet that is your issue. Get a better PSU, you don't even need more wattage, a 550w one would do.
EVGA 550 G2, GS, or G3, Seasonic G series 550, XFX TS 550, Antec VP 550, Antec HCG 550.
The CX 600 has more than sufficient amperage and wattage to supply the GTX 1080. What preceded this problem. Did you just upgrade to the 1080? If so, what did you have before that? Does your PC boot up into Windows? Are you able to play games initially and then it crashes? If so, then clean out your drivers with DDU (Display Drivers Uninstaller) and then download a fresh copy of the drivers from Nvidia (without Geforce experience): http://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=706

If you can return that PSU do it, 100% and then buy yourself any PSU I listed.
After that if you still have the problem (which you may not) at least we know its not the PSU, and you will have a FAR BETTER quality PSU to boot. The CX 600 is not a good one.
there was a critical errors just error this was one of them

Yes the gpu temp is around 6oc cpu is around 60-70c under load. But the gpu load is at 99% most of the time on the benchmark which i think is a lot for a gtx 1080 or is that normal.
I got got a replacement for my gpu and this one is doing the same so it has to be my pc or sumthink i am doing wrong. This software you said do you have to buy it.
i just took out one of my ram sticks and they pc still crashed. So i then swapped it with the other stick 8gb of ram and it looks like it is working now. I have run 3 benchmark tests in a row with no crashes. So would this mean that one of the sticks is faulty.
Thanks for helping me with this mate.
+ryanm136 The event viewer error states that you should do a repair of Norton Security under your windows local administrative account. That makes me worry that you may have an infection causing these errors. Run the 3 programs below. Run each one to completion, before you start the next one. Then report back here please.
