[SOLVED] GTX 1080 SLI - SLI option not showing up

Ive got 2 1080 founders edition cards, both are showing up in nvidia control panel and device manager but it doesnt give me the option to put them in sli, ive tried 2 different sli bridges but it still doesnt work. ive also done a clean install of drivers which didnt work aswell.

Anyone got any ideas?

What motherboard do you have? Not all motherboards support SLi.

It doesn't support SLI.

SLI requires 2 x16 slots running at x8 or x16 mode.
Your board has one x16@x16 and one x16@x4.

The motherboard spec says multi gpu support is crossfire. No support listed for SLi.

okay, it said way graphics card support on the website and assumed that it was for both amd and nvidia, thanks for your help.

SLI is degraded anyway...almost no new games support it
