GTX 1080 TI 2x SLI On Maximus Apex IX Board queston.

I am tryin to figure out what Nvidia SLI Bridge Type I will need to properly space the GPUs on this board. I want to put the primary card in the top Safe Slot, and the Secondary in the Bottom Safe Slot, but I am unsure if I need a 3 slot bridge or a 4 slotter. Would love to know the answer to this, would save me from trial and error.

You need the 4 slot HB SLI connector. I use the same gaps/slots (position wise on the Mobo) you want but on my Asus Rampage IV with 2 GTX 1080s and I use a 4 slot

Sweet thanks, now to wait till the Asus Rog Strix GTX 1080 TI goes back to 750 per on any one of the retailers. Beh....

To be sure though, when you answered, it was derived from you seeing its third safe slot, not the very bottom slot that the board has yes?

Yes I was going by the safe slots (1st to 3rd). There is not a HB SLI connector made that can reach that bottom sli slot from the first safe slot.
