Hi,

Yesterday I had bought Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 Ti 3 fans used for 490$ and then I installed a new windows and drivers and I restarted the PC the driver was working, I restarted for the 2nd time and found that the GTX 1080 Ti driver has gone. I re-installed it and i kept restarting they driver gets uninstalled alone. I kept doing that till it's fixed but the problem was in the graphics card itself.
It was 2GB only

I phoned the seller and he told me it's a known problem for windows 10 users, Was it a scam or what?

Solution
That is a 1080ti in every way I can tell

www.userbenchmark.com

Run this unless you see 1st percentile on your GPU you're probably good to go

Post the link it gives you upon completion so we can look it over

It kept installing then ran some stuffs and it got crashed.

EDIT: I ran it on GTA V as a test It said 11264 MB or smthing like that and I kept playing for 1 hour without any problems and was too smooth at 1080p

Was this on eBay, do you have the listing?

It at least reads like a GTX 1080 Ti, that's a GP102. If it's a legit 1080 Ti, it sounds a bit like a failing one that someone may be unloading on you. I would not buy a used GPU in this market, with crypto crashing, without a much larger discount on the price than is typical for a used card. Now, a 1080 Ti would be a silly mining card, but people do silly things all the time.

It wasn't on eBay, It was on a facebook group and I contacted the seller and met him with my PC and he had tested the GPU for me and he wanted to install windows for me but I told him that's enough, I can install windows myself at home but as the GPU is working so it's okay. (I wanted to install windows myself because I know what software I use.), Even what made me feel safe is that the GPU itself is the Asus ROG Strix one and I know how it looks like and he provided me a warranty by himself for 30 days, He told me "If you've met a problem in the GPU you can bring it back and take your money within 30 days."

EDIT: It hasn't got any stuff, Just only the GPU itself.

EDIT 2: What made me feel more safe after testing GTA V on Ultra 1080p for 1 hour with a smooth fps.

It haven't tell anything yet but I think It was on GPU because I had read GTX 1080 Ti in the logs while It was testing.

I paid 490$, He wanted to install a windows for my pc at his home while I am with him just to show me that the GPU works 100% and test the benchmarks.

I don't know It's model or anything but it's a 875 Watt ones with a 6 PIN and 8 PIN Connectors.

The model is a crucial part of information, even more important than the wattage in many cases.
