Question GTX 1080 Ti Strix not working properly ?

Hello everyone, so i got the 1080ti and it is not working properly. The GPU does power on sometimes (like once in 20 attempts) and sometimes drivers install fine and you can run any tests on it and it woks fine. Sometimes the GPU turns on but during driver installation flickers like crazy and then it shuts down. Most of the time it wont turn on at all. Is there any way to save it or is it done?
It has been tested in multiple rigs with PSU-s from 600w to 1200w and it behaved the same.

Was it sold as a working GPU? Because it certainly is faulty. You should return and ask for your money back.

Was sold as working. Im getting a refund tru paypal so i dont worry about that. But it is just a shame that such gpu is worthless now. I brought it to the repair shop and they took it apart and said everything looks fine but it was probably mined on and thats why its having those issues

Hey dude! The same problem happened to me. This is how I got it. Asus Maximus VI Formula motherboard 32GB HyperX 2133Mhz I7 4770K Strix GTX1080Ti OC The 650W Chieftec PSU was sufficient to power this computer. It would work for between 5-10-15 minutes every time I wanted to play. Then, it would either restart or freeze or both. My PSU cannot work with 650W, but it might be able to run on 500-550. You might try your computer with a 750W PSU.

My problem is that sometimes it powers on not depending of PSU. It ran fine on 550, 650, 750 and 1200w psu but like turned on once or twice on any of them. 99% of the time it doesnt want to turn on whatever PSU it might be on.
