I was running bf1 good my fps was 140-95 until one day i was playing and my power supply burned out so i had to replace it with Corsair RMx Series RM850.
After replacing it, i was getting big fps drop from 140 to 60 or 70 so i check my cpu temp n it was kind of hot so i ended up replacing my cooler with The CORSAIR Hydro Series H115i PRO.
Now my cpu temp are around 65c max gaming but still having fps drop.
i tried to re-installed the OS still did not workout for me.
i was thinking it could be my hard drive??should i get an SSD?
my space are
GTX 1080ti with i7 4790k temps are around 60 max with 16 rams ddr3
Thank you for your time.

Would you try reinstalling Nvidia drivers after applying DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller >> http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) in safe mode, double check your windows is running in high performance mode and Nvidia in-game recording/streaming is disabled in GeForce experience panel as well.

thank you for the reply, so both are disabled and the windows is running on high performance.
I even formatted my computer back like it was brand new with a new windows and still didn't work.

yes i also play forza horizon 3 fps droping same with bf4.
i am running bf1 on max 144hz 1440p i never had problem before.

so i ran it for the first time it was around 800 then i ran it for the second time n it went up to 844.
i took a pic so u can see whats my cpu n gpu usage

Set the gpu clock to 4.4ghz in bios . But it won't make much difference. Your CPU is running fine . Gpu clock speed is bit low . But it also won't affect much . You can get 5 to 10fps from them . But CPU usage is low in that screen. I remember my 4790k usually above 90% in bf1 . But I forgot the gpu usage . Forza horizon 3 runs around 80s and bf1 runs around 120s maybe . I'll check it again

What game overlay you use to get those statistics while gaming: is it rivatuner+hwinfo ?
Do you get same low FPS if you don't play online ( local game mode if game supports it) ?

yes i am using both, sometime i used nvidia geforce experience for fps.
i dont play really off line, i only play online i bet ill get better fps if i was off line.

ok i just tired forza horizon 3 offline still getting fps drop

Do you use a wired or wireless connection? any firewall?
I would really take a second close look at Geforce Experience settings (and disable most of it especially of the streaming recording and overlay features one by one) and Nvidia control panel general/specific game profile settings as they have tons of duplicate redundant settings that could appear conflictual.

its wired connection my internet is fast plus everything is disable no steam or recording. I start thinking it could be an hardware not software because i formatted my hard drive 3 days ago and still the same.

Windows 10 has had several major updates, all of which play havoc with legacy drivers, especially audio, Lan, USB, Sata etc. You returned the pc to factory default, new windows, new video drivers, but have not mentioned downloading and installing the latest motherboard chipset drivers. Those alone can cause many issues from fps loss to freezing, slow or laggy lan, black screens, even high cpu/gpu temps etc.
I'd take a trip to your motherboards support website and not only update the bios, but every chipset driver they have. These will include any/all patches made to accommodate win10 changes.

I just updated everything the bios, lan, audio, hard drive etc...but still same thing I'm starting to think my CPU is fucking up maybe??because i overclocked for almost 2 years.
One of the reason I burned out my power supply because my overclocking.
Thank you for your help.

There is always the possibility you did loose out on the cpu lottery, but even then it's still notoriously hard to kill a cpu. I ran my i7-3770K at 4.9GHz for 4 years, just turned it back to 4.6GHz recently on a whim after redoing the whole interior setup again.

If you believe the psu burned out due to OC, then you had an insufficient/cheap quality psu. Even with a high OC, your entire system (minus gpu) was only seeing 300-350w under torture loads, closer to 200-250w gaming. Add in max of 300w for a 1080ti and you'd still be gaming @400-450w at best. That's child's play for any decent 650w psu, which is what's recommended for that pc.

i agree with you. I have msi z97 pc mate, thats a cheap mother bored plus my older power supply was 800w it was cheap too.I overclocked my CPU to 4.7 and every time I was gaming, my breaker used to trip now i don't get that problem with Corsair RMx Series RM850 but still the fps are low so i am thinking either its the CPU or the mother bored?i don't know lol.

yap, I think that will be last option. if i get a CPU, ill get the i7 8700k but i have to get a mother bored 1151 with ddr4 and that will be all together around 650$ i don't know if i wanna do it now lol.
