My GTX 1080ti has been underpeforming on passmark.
I have tried underclocking, stock and overclocking, still below baseline.
thank you for any help

Yeah... If your score improved with the RAM overclock, it is evidence that your RAM is holding your graphics card back a bit. Most people running a 1080Ti are probably already on DDR4, meaning they're running anywhere between 2133 MHz and 3000 MHz for RAM. So that could explain the higher score.

I wouldn't worry too much about it though. You're still performing better than a GTX 1080.

I doubt it's memory frequency/bandwidth. Did you check the following?
  1. Change power settings to high performance in windows control panel.
  2. Make sure you have two dedicated power supply cables going to each PSU port on the graphics card. Don't use one PSU cable that has two connections daisy chained.
Power settings are on ultimate performance.
I switched the single cable with 2 connectors for 2 cables, didn't notice improvement.
thanks anyway
