gtx 1080 with i7 4790k

I'd like to know if the gtx 1080 is compatible with the i7 4790k 4ghz CPU?

Or will it cause bottleneck in games like gta v at high settings?

IT will work fine fully compatible and the I7 is still a very good 1st tier gaming CPU.

depends on the resolution you'll be playing at

you might get some slight bottlenecking at 1080p if the frames get high enough. Overclocking the CPU could help with that.

at 1440p, it should be fine
