[SOLVED] Gtx 1650 GDDR6 + 170w PSU

I have a 3 y/o lenovo prebuilt(Ideacentre 310s), and I'm planning to upgrade with a GTX 1650 GDDR6(75w) with 170w external power supply. As of now, my system consumes around 15 to 25 watts. Will there cause any issues even if I still have a headroom of psu?

Solution
Personally, I wouldn't expect that system to even boot with a GTX 1650 installed. With only a 170 watt power supply, I would suspect that the PCI-Ex16 slot in the motherboard is wired for only 25 or 35 watts; not enough for the GTX 1650. These systems are not designed for upgrades.

Well, a 170w PSU isn't ideal, i have a 1650 Super and it consumes a lot of watts, so i would recommend getting a more powerful psu so you have more headroom, but i don't think it'll cause any issues.
