Soo i asked the lady at the store, That I want to purchase a GTX 1660 for my old pc. And she said that the 1660 will be bottleneck and will run like a 1050 ti because my pc is too old and suggested that I should just buy a 1050ti or build a new one.
----------------------------------
My Specs:

Asus h97m-e motherboard
Intel i5-4460 3.20 Ghz
X-STRIKE 500 WATTS 80 bronze
Seagate 1tb 7200.14
GT 730 2GB
8gb ram Kingstone HyperX Fury 1600hmz
I have a 1080p 60HZ Monitor

should i still purchase it? Any suggestions.

If you keep vsync on or cap fps to 60 your cpu will be fine running that card and also keep a higher fps average vs 1050ti where 1050ti will dip to 30~40s depending on game and settings.

4 cores do struggle in modern games though, and 8GB ram is on the low side nowadays, all depends on the games you play of course. Any triple A games from the last few years will play much better with 16GB ram and if you could find an i7 4770 or 4790 on the cheap, even better.

Go for it i reckon, 1050Ti is on the low low budget end.
