Hello everyone, I need your opinions, I am about to buy a gpu, and I am between 3 models, GTX 1660 Super/TI, GTX 1070 and GTX 1070 Ti, both used only for gaming, never for mining, and at the same price. Which would suit me? In my opinion, I would choose the GTX 1660 Super/Ti because it has newer technology, shorter usage time, lower TDP consumption, and lower heat. My downside for not going for a GTX 1660 Super/Ti is that there is a GTX 1070 that drives me crazy because it's the Founders Edition version which I love aesthetically and always wanted a Founders Edition gpu. And as far as performance, FPS, I would go for GTX 1070 Ti. The only fear I have is that I go for some GTX 1070/Ti and they only last 1-2 years and stop working. I would only use it for gaming and video editing (Vegas Pro, Adobe Premier). In short, GTX 1660 Super for durability, less usage time and good performance, GTX 1070 for performance and because the Founders Edition models are my weakness, and GTX 1070 Ti because it performs better than the rest.

Important:

GTX 1660 Super: from 1 to 2 years of use maximum.
GTX 1070: 4 to 6 years of use.
GTX 1070 Ti: 3 to 3.5 years of use.

Should the GTX 1070 be discarded? Both gpu's are very well maintained.

Update: What about a RTX 2060 over the GTX 1070 Ti?.

The 1660 Super probably isn't going to give you min/1% lows that are above 60fps on some titles with max/ultra settings. With a few details turned off, it probably will most of the time. If you want 60fps or higher minimum frame rates at ultra settings at 1080p, I'd really recommend going after the 1070 or 1070 ti.
What resolution are you planning to be gaming at? What kind of settings are you targeting? What kind of games do you primarily play?

There's only about a 14% difference in 3d performance going from 1660 Super to the 1070 ti, so whatever you choose it's not going to be a massive gain or loss, but 14% is nothing to sneeze at either, and in many cases might be the difference between sustaining a necessary frame rate or having to drop some settings.

1080p resolution, in high/ultra settings or even in medium to have a stable 60 FPS, without drops. Games like Dying Light 1 & 2, Dead by Daylight, latest Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 4 & 5, Battlefield 1, V & 2042, GTA V, NFS Heat, Mass Effect Andromeda, latest Far Cry, CoD Warzone, PUBG, The Witcher 3, APEX Legends, Control.

hi,
GTX 1660 Super for keeping it up and steady, the 1070ti is a better card than the other 2, but you say you like the aesthetics of the founders edition,
your gonna regret not getting the founders edition because you feel like this; if you dont get it ithink.
