I was wondering so long as temps are fine what a good core and mem clock would be for this gpu 1660ti(mobile), in many games if I am not on max settings the gpu remains at around 30-40%, so i was strongly considering overclocking, i already use a program called evga precision 1x, which keeps the gpu at it's turbo state. which is around 1935mhz core and 6000mhz mem. Is it safe to exceed this as temps are between 50-65 as the usage is very low. system specs are gtx 1660ti(mobile) i7-10750h @ 4.2ghz all core active and 16gb single channel ram. Thanks any help is very much appreciated.

Most likely your cooling will not stand 100% usage continuously which will cause the GPU to throttle. With all the will of pulling the most out of it, I would just leave it be as long as it works.
Why would you overclock and boost anything that is not being fully utilized at its base? What are you trying to achieve? More heat and noise? 40% utilization means it can take another 60% load… which is not required for the task.
The reason I had an overclock is that only on max settings would the clockspeed boost, I tested on low settings base clock vs boost clock with 40% util and noticed an improvement in performance, for this reason I was wondering how much to oc. On that note do you know of anyway to raise gpu usage as i have heard that it cn give significant performance boosts. Thank you very much for your quick reply and help.

Yeah you are probably right, however interestingly my cpu temps aren't nearly as good as my gpu and it runs at high usage so idk, but thank you so much for the help.
