Question Gtx 1660ti or next gen

Hey friends,
So should I buy gtx 1660ti now and upgrade to rtx xx70 later....or I should save the buck and later get some more powerful gpu like xx70 ti/super ....I currently have gtx 1050ti 4gb ......I mainly wanted to play apex legends/ overwatch 1440p@144hz ....?

I'd say wait and hold out on more information and subsequent launch of the 3000 series GPU's from Nvidia. Also, what is the make and model of your PSU and it's age?
