rofl

GTX470 is between 5850 and 5870, GTX480 is a little faster than 5870, no way the GTX485 will be as powerfull as the 5970. Probably GTX495 will be similar or better than the 5970.

Yes but you shouldn't ignore the GTX460. It's a great card for the money, little faster than the 5830 on average and it gives better performance in tesselation. It also doesn't exhaust much heat as the grill chip gf100.

well when nvidia releases GTX295,and ati will release 6000 series so ati will be still better >.>

OK then, do as you want to. Get i7 and 5770, but don't complain in the future when you will want to put games on high-very high settings because of the unbalanced gaming PC.

In some games it's a lot faster than the 5830. [:mousemonkey]

why the hell u want to balance everything?

The GeForce GTX 460 1GB also routs the Radeon HD 5830, winning in every test except for Final Fantasy XIV Official Benchmark and enjoying an average advantage of 34%. If compared to the Radeon HD 5850, the GeForce GTX 460 has 6 wins, 11 losses and 1 draw, which is good considering the difference in pricing.

Source.

It's a bit more than "on average" though and when it comes to price/performance (that's the ATi mantra isn't it?) it seems a better deal than a 5850.

Yes, sort of. Because in my country the GTX460 is overpriced (220 euros for the 768mb version, 260 euros for the 1GB version). So globaly it might be a better choice, but in some parts of the world it isn't and here in my place the HD5850 seems like better deal.

Anyway the GTX460 is a great card:)

lol just checked the price of gtx 460 the 768mb one it costs 5$ more than the gtx 260 and the 1GB version of gtx460 costs 20$ more i might get the gtx460 instead the hd5770-gtx260.

Mousemonkey said the gtx460 consumes 168w only i even less than gtx260,so chances are ill get the gtx460 if i find the better manufucater cuz i only saw the gigabyte version of the gtx460 1gb.

Then get the GTX460!!:) GTX460 is like 2.5x the power of the GTX260.

And Gigabyte are very good manufacturers.
