Hmmm interesting, well i have 40 amps across 2 +12 rails, but i only have 2 6-pin PCI-e connectors. Would i just use the 4-pin to 6-pin adapters for the additional slots? Would i have to underclock the cards or something?
I just used the adapter. No you dont have to underclock the cards. What psu do you have? My psu is cutting it close but it works great because of the quality.

Well i dont think you need that many amps. Im running 2 gtx260 sli oc with only a 500w psu.

ok i have a 600w psu and if i were to get SLI with gtx 260 i would be fine because i have been told different
